Neverland Connect is a non-profit organization that emphasizes cross-cultural connections among teens and preteens from around the globe. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where young individuals can share their diverse perspectives and learn from one another. With engaging programs, Neverland Connect empowers youth to embrace their differences and celebrate their similarities as they develop important life skills with friends. Our Story

Waylon Leng, the founder of this community, is a teenager in the United States. He founded our community in early 2021 with the goal of improving the English of Chinese lower and middle school students. Over the course of 4 years, what began as casual one-on-one conversations has transformed into a vibrant global community, with members from various countries including the United States, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Canada, and China. Over these years, we have continued to work towards our commitment to achieve cultural appreciation and understanding among teens and preteens.

Our Values

Youth-led: while adults are important in our community, we prioritize having preteens and teens run this community, ensuring that we focus on learning with peers and developing leadership and creativity for the future.
Community-based: we value community development in Neverland Connect through our programs, seeing all community members as part of one big family and striving for their increased connection through both online and offline sharing of experiences and ideas.
Culture-rooted: we are committed to achieving cultural appreciation among community members through our programs, fostering open minds for preteens and teens as they experience the world.
